Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes related to the user's contact request on the website.

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected, but for no more than 10 years from the termination of the contractual relationship, in compliance with the prescription terms or different terms established by law for their retention, or for a longer period if necessary to protect the rights of the Data Controller.

The processing of personal data, concerning the specified purposes, is carried out using manual and/or computerized and telematic tools with organizational and processing methods strictly related to those purposes and suitable for ensuring the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the data.

Rights of the Data Subject

With regard to the described processing, the Data Subject can exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 and following of the GDPR by contacting the data controller at the above references:
  • access, the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of their personal data, to know their origin, as well as the logic and purposes on which the processing is based, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data may be communicated, and the determination of the retention period, if it can be defined;
  • rectification of inaccurate data, the right to obtain, without unjustified delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data and/or the integration of incomplete personal data;
  • erasure (the right to be forgotten), in cases where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of collection and subsequent processing, or in case of revocation of consent to processing (where such consent is optional or there is no other legal basis for processing);
  • restriction of processing, the right to obtain the restriction of processing in cases where:
    • the Data Subject disputes the accuracy of the personal data, for the period necessary for the data controller to verify the accuracy of the data;
    • the processing is unlawful and the Data Subject opposes the erasure of personal data and instead requests that its use be restricted;
    • the personal data are required by the Data Subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim;
    • the Data Subject has objected to processing under Article 21 of the GDPR, pending verification as to whether the legitimate grounds of the data controller override those of the Data Subject;
  • data portability, the right to receive the personal data of the Data Subject in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format with the possibility of transmitting them to another data controller. This right does not apply to non-automated processing (e.g., paper archives and records), and it only applies to data processed with the Data Subject's consent and provided by the Data Subject;
  • objection, the right to object to processing for reasons related to the Data Subject's particular situation, including the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purposes of sending advertising materials or newsletters, direct sales, or conducting market research or commercial communication;
  • withdrawal, the Data Subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before the withdrawal;
  • complaint, the Data Subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Piazza di Montecitorio, 121 00186 ROME.
